A hands-on approach
BMair, based in Nieuwkuijk, specializes in overpressure systems that are installed in machinists' cabins to ensure save air spaces. As the CFO, Jeroen is involved not only in financial and strategic policy but also in operational processes, including IT. This is where Krijn comes into play, particularly in setting up the Odoo ERP system.
“Krijn comes by, observes, and holds sessions with us. he always wants to know exactly what the problem is and then starts brainstorming with us” says Jeroen. What really makes the difference for Jeroen is that Krijn takes the time to thoroughly understand the problem. "He doesn't come up with generic solutions but with specific, tailor-made ones. Thanks to Krijn, we've been able to make rapid progress."
Reliable and involved
Jeroen describes Krijn as a down-to-earth, pragmatic, and reliable partner. "Krijn is always relaxed, no matter how busy he is. He shows up with clear dedication and you can count on him. Especially in the early stages, he really helped me out. Without him, I'd still be facing problems."
What Jeroen particularly appreciates is how Krijn acts as a bridge between the financial business and the IT developers. "Our IT developers are technically very skilled, but they don't always fully understand the financial side. Krijn understands both worlds and can precisely tell us what is and isn't possible. That makes him incredibly valuable."
Thinking along and sharing knowledge
Krijn's way of working goes beyond just solving problems. He involves Jeroen in the world of Odoo, explaining how the system is structured and why certain solutions work the way they do. "He shows me the architecture of Odoo so that I can understand the big picture. I don't specifically ask for this extra explanation, but Krijn senses when it's needed, and I really appreciate that. This has only increased my interest in Odoo."
